    Dr Henricks grew up in Mansfield and attended local schools. He trained in Brisbane graduating from the University of Queensland in 1995. Dr Henricks has worked as a GP on Brisbane's southside for over 15 years where he has established a loyal following of patients.

    Dr Connell was born and raised in Maryborough, Queensland. He first moved to Brisbane to complete his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland. Dr. Connell has worked in general practice since 1967.

    Jon is a Queensland trained GP with special interests in skin cancer medicine, paediatrics, antenatal care and chronic disease. He was amongst the youngest Australian graduates to obtain his medical degree in 2010. He worked in a number of metropolitan and rural hospitals in Queensland prior to obtaining Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

     

    Jon completed post graduate studies with a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney. He is passionate about the important role that GP’s have in the provision of quality primary healthcare. He contributes to the profession by teaching GP Registrars as well as being an examiner for the RACGP. He is an accredited skin cancer doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

     

    Outside of work Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. He loves cycling, the Brisbane Broncos, good coffee and is refining his (lack of) skills in edible gardening. He actively supports a primary healthcare project called Yotkom; providing services to some of the most resource poor in Northern Uganda.

  • Dr Rob Osgood is an experienced GP with a diverse hospital background, having worked across Physician training, General Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Before medicine, he worked as an exercise physiologist, which sparked his interest in healthcare.
    He spent more than six years in emergency settings before moving into general practice, drawn by the continuity of care and the ability to form long-term relationships with patients.
    Rob has special interests in emergency presentations, minor procedures, eye conditions and chronic disease management. He takes an evidence-based approach to preventative health, particularly around cholesterol, diet and lifestyle, and is passionate about helping patients navigate modern health challenges, including stress and wellbeing.
    Outside of work, Rob enjoys cycling and previously competed in track cycling at a national level. Originally from Perth, he loves staying active, spending time outdoors with his family and is a committed coffee enthusiast. He and his wife have four children, including twins.
    Rob looks forward to caring for the local community and building strong, ongoing relationships with his patients at MyLocalDoc Wishart.

    Dr Reece grew up in far north Queensland moving to Brisbane to study at the University of Queensland. She has worked in general practice since 1995. Dr Reece has a wide spectrum of interests including women's health, child health and management of chronic health conditions. She particularly enjoys general practice as it gives the opportunity to be involved in the long term care of patients and their families.

    Dr Amir Guindy holds an MBChB in Medicine and Surgery from Egypt, graduating in 2003, and is a proud Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). With over two decades of clinical experience, he has provided dedicated care to regional communities across New South Wales and Queensland.

    His areas of special interest include Chronic disease management, Antenatal care, Paediatrics , Musculoskeletal, Women’s and Men’s health. Known for his empathetic approach and clinical excellence, Dr Guindy is passionate about building lasting relationships and supporting each patient’s health journey.

    Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, embracing the joys of family life.

    Dr Harvey is one of the founding principal partners of Newnham Rd Medical Centre.

    Since graduating from The University of Queensland in 1978 Dr Harvey has worked in the Mansfield/Wishart area for 34 years and has treated families for four generations. Dr Harvey has a special interest in asthma, paediatrics, skin and chronic conditions.

    Dr. Valerie Chua is a highly experienced General Practitioner whose career spans both London and Brisbane. A graduate of the prestigious University of London, she has developed her expertise across a wide range of healthcare settings, giving her a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to patient care.
    Dr. Chua further specialised in paediatric medicine, earning a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in chronic disease management, preventative health care, and women’s health. Her dedication to delivering thorough, compassionate, and personalised care has earned her the trust and respect of her patients and peers alike.
    Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Chua is actively involved in medical education, mentoring future doctors by hosting and teaching medical students and registrars. Her experience also extends to assisting in orthopaedic surgery, highlighting her versatility and broad clinical knowledge. In addition, Dr. Chua is a contributing author to professional medical literature, reflecting her ongoing passion for education, advocacy, and advancing the standards of healthcare.
